SUMMER EVENTS
Summer Concert Series
June through August
One of the highlights of the summer is North Township’s Summer Concert Series. Beginning in early June and continuing every Thursday through early August, North Township features some of the best bands around to perform at the Wicker Park Social Center Gazebo. vintage and contemporary rock to latin soul, the sounds of summer are always better at Wicker Park.
PLEASE NOTE: Extra parking and shuttle will be provided to/from the former Ultra Foods parking lot to Wicker Park Social Center.
Vet & Friends Socials
July 9 and August 13
Vets & Friends takes place on the second Tuesday of each month at the Wicker Park Clubhouse and is open to veterans, family members and supporters – both in and outside the township.
Cruise Nights
July 24, August 28, September 25
Check out the coolest classic cars and trucks during our monthly summer cruise nights at Wicker Memorial Park. Our DJ will be spinning tunes and food will be available for purchase. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for comfortable seating and enjoy the evening.
Crosstown Classic
August 9
Join us for a trip to the South Side to watch the Chicago White Sox take on the Chicago Cubs in this year’s Crosstown Classic series. Game starts at 7:10 p.m. Check-in at 4:30 p.m. Bus departs Wicker Memorial Park at 5 p.m. and returns at after end of the game. Cost is $130 per person includes game ticket and round-trip coach bus transportation to/from Wicker Memorial Park.
