Veterans Memorial Ride

The Victory for Veterans Memorial Ride brings motorcycle-loving veterans by the thousands to Wicker Memorial Park. It’s a day to celebrate the men and women who have laid their lives on the line for each of us. No event is complete without entertainment, food and fun family-friendly activities and the Victory for Veterans Memorial Ride is no exception.
Halloween Trunk or Treat

Little ghouls and goblins ages 3-12 are invited to North Township's Halloween Trunk or Treat at the Pavilion, (time TBA). This annual event at Wicker Park Pavilion features ourTrunk or Treats, bounce house, costume contest, food, and of course, CANDY! We invite community groups and businesses to participate by decorating a vehicle and entering our contest. For more info on how to register, call 219-313-3934.
Annual Coat Drive
November 16, 2024
New winter coats will be given to children from North Township during the 16the annual Coat Drive at Wicker Memorial Park Pavilion from 9-11 a.m. Nov. 16. A parent and/or guardian must be present with the child. Recipients must be North Township residents with a Valid ID.
DROP-OFF LOCATIONS: The township is aaking residents to donate gently used adult coats between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday on or before Nov. 8 at one of the following North Township locations: East Chicago office, 2100 Broadway; Hammond Office, 5947 Hohman Ave.; or, Wicker Memorial Park Office, 8554 Indianapolis Boulevard, Highland.
