The pride and joy of North Township, Wicker Memorial Park is awash in activity every day of the year. Owned and operated by North Township, the staff has made life-enriching improvements part of his mission.

The park was bequeathed to the township as a gift to the township’s five communities — Whiting, East Chicago, Hammond, Munster, HIghland and Griffith. 

The staff are committed to being good stewards of the greenspace.

The hope:  That every North Township resident finds a reason to visit the park at least once a year, hopefully more often. See you at the park!
